We are an ISO 9001:2000 Company. Our authorized capital is Rs. 110 million with subscribed capital of Rs. 70.4 million. The equity is paid up of Rs. 1 per share. Company OverviewOur Company was incorporated on 05/04/1995 as “Interworld Fashion Ltd. Our Company was then engaged in exports of various products worldwide. In 2001, we added selling with the help of eCommerce and due to good responses and possibilities in Information Technology, Company fully entered in development and marketing of Web based solutions and products and changed the name to Interworld.Com Ltd.. During 2005, the Company launched a program Horizon 2005. This program consists of two programs: One was Online Insurance and another was Digital Cinema. Interworld become one of the pioneer company in sector of Online Insurance and Digital Cinema in India. Interworld is the first company in India to talk about distribution of movies to theatre via satellite and to announce pay-as-you-go model to benefit the Film Industry. The Company had to give up online Insurance business due to lack of support of Insurance Companies and regulatory bodies. The Company invested more than two years in developing Digital Cinema system, architecture of equipment, finalisation and tie-up with OEM manufacturing of Digital Projectors in Norway. In 2005, the change in name (Interworld Digital Ltd.) is to reflect current thrust of our company in film media – Production, Distribution and Exhibition sector. |
