Interworld is the first company in India to talk about distribution of movies to theatre via satellite and to announce pay-as-you-go model to benefit the Film Industry. The Company invested more than two years in developing Digital Cinema system, architecture of equipment, finalisation and tie-up with OEM manufacturing of Digital Projectors in Norway. In 2005, the change in name (Interworld Digital Ltd.) is to reflect current thrust of our company in film media – Production, Distribution and Exhibition sector.
We believe that the introduction of digital cinema represents the greatest opportunity for enhancing the theatrical film experience since the introduction of sound and the advent of colour. The conversion from celluloid film distribution and display to an all – digital system has the potential of providing real benefits to theatre audi-  ences, theatre owners, film makers & film distributors. But in order for these benefits to be fully realized, digtal cinema must be defined, standardized & implemented in a way that ensures that the benefits accrue to all stakeholders.
Interworld Digital has developed a strategy & vision for some path breaking trends for the years to come in the entertainment industry & its constituent segments in the long term.
